Ente Cinema (ENG)

Ente Cinema is the version of live cinema, derived from the installation of interactive video mapping Ente, performed as a resident artist at Etopia Center for Art and Technology (Zaragoza). In this case the projection transcends the traditional cinematographic framework to be more than an audio-visual narrative, and became an audio-visual experience. The form of the sound composition, improvised live, is detected by the Pure Data programming, which chains and mixes the visual files. The sound textures select and reproduce the video pieces, extracted from a file with dozens of them, by means of a kind of induced randomness that hinders the control and allows an unpredictable composition. The pieces have a circular shape, as mandalas, or an infinity of ancestral visual representations.
Ente Cinema is a reflection (also a warning) about the persuasive power of images and the effect they have on the unconscious, today even more, with the technological possibilities and the unstoppable extent of worldwide audio-visual, in all areas of life.
